LFV’s efforts to continuously improve the environment around the airport include:
- Proposing that the airport’s permit under the Swedish Environmental Code be amended − with stricter conditions.
- Ensuring that the airport has a retailer of unleaded aircraft fuel.
- Noise-insulating homes near the airport.
- Introducing an environmental management system that meets the ISO 14001:2004 international standard.
