The time for the latest possible check-in varies between domestic and international flights and between different airlines. Please read your travel documents carefully or contact your airline to be sure what applies to your particular journey.
At the check-in counter
All passengers must check in before they can receive their boarding card, even those travelling only with hand baggage. Inspection of identification (ID) documents is mandatory in the European Union, so be prepared to be able to identify yourself.
NOTE: Do not store photographic film in your check-in baggage, since it may be affected by the X-ray equipment that is used during baggage sorting. Put film in your hand baggage instead.

Self-service check-in machines
Stockholm-Bromma has four self-service check-in machines for passengers on Malmö Aviation, and more such machines are on the way.
Checking in by mobile phone or via the Internet
If you only carry hand baggage, or no baggage at all, Malmö Aviation offers certain customers the opportunity to check in by mobile phone. There are also plans to offer Internet check-in to passengers at Stockholm-Bromma in the near future.
Security checkpoint
Passengers who have checked in should then pass through the security checkpoint, where all hand baggage is X-rayed. This also applies to mobile telephones. All passengers pass through a metal detector. The metal detector does not affect heart pacemakers.

Identity document inspection
Since May 2006, all air passengers are required to show acceptable identification at check-in and when boarding their aircraft. Other EU countries have also introduced such ID document inspection or will do so.
